Shiar

I got so inspired for painting today, as you've probably realised a long time ago with all those submissions of mine (last one tonight, promise).

Anyway. Another one of my dear villain Arodhi's general, this time Shiar. A little note of explanations: The hair and face was painted five months ago. I have improved since then, but I didn't want to change anything. And I kinda like the hair although some parts of it seem a little bit unrefined. The clothing (which is supposed to be black), hand, knife and background was made today. Kind of an awkward pose, perhaps, but at least it's a possible pose compared to what the last attempt for this pic was.

Shiar is a prettyboy, and he loves to show off. He's one of the youngest of the bunch of generals, who are all sorcerers and very close to Arodhi, their leader. For Shiar, his young age means that he's actually younger than 2000 years, which is... kinda old still. I haven't really figured out his exact age yet. He is a powerful sorcerer, and a skilled fighter (if he wasn't both those two, he would never have become a general in the first place), especially with his daggers. But somehow he tends to seem even better when there's a pretty girl to impress...
