*sigh* I'm never sure of the wallpaper categories...
Anyway, just a quickie because I wanted a good-looking guy as a new wallpaper, and Lunadain (this guy) looks good enough. He looks better in my head though, but what can fit better than a wallpaper of the main character you're writing about? This is, to avoid confusion, NOT from my novel-in-progress, and NOT from Keeper of the Stone, but a story I write for fun, a sort of therapy story, where Lunadain is the main character. Some people might have guessed that I love worlds with several dimensions. So basically it starts out in our world, but Lunadain is from a separate dimension just as modern as ours, but with certain differences. Like magic. And some other stuff.
Lunadain is no softie, he uses whatever means possible to get the result he wants to achieve, and he is not a man to care too much for strangers. He is an extremely powerful man, and loyal to his friends. He is a trustable man, but if you're not a friend you can mostly just trust him to kick your ass so you'll remember it. He is far from evil though, he is on the good side. And he's a cool guy.
Originally planned to have his lover in the picture as well, who so far is just called "the boy" since Lunadain hasn't bothered to find out his name yet (after a week of living with him. Never said he was normal.) but it never got right. Also planned to have more of his body in the picture, but never got around to that either. It's, after all, a quickie. Probably going to become tired of looking at this tomorrow already... Never got the eyes right, which is the main reason for the sunglasses. Didn't really bother either. He is, after all, a person to wear sunglasses. And it's not for the sun he's wearing them.
Resolution 1280x1024. Not the most common resolution, but it's the one I have, so...
Nice! So you like good-looking guys for your wallpaper ? That's cool though. I like the green textured background, but perhaps next time continue his body down to the end of the frame? But overall nice work
Thanks I originally planned to paint more of his body, but I got really sloppy and tired of it towards the end, so I didn't bother. I don't really see it as finished though, so there'll probably be another version up soon...
Thanks Yeah, I'm always too careful about contrast, I guess I'm afraid of ruining the picture (although that's kinda pointless since I can just do it on a separate layer)...
